Description

Welcome to the Kingston University Jiu Jitsu Club!

The club was started in 1989 by students for students and has been running continously for over 30 years. Our instructor, has been training in martial arts for over 40 years, teaching for over 30, also having  worked as a strength and conditioning coach. We also encourage our own members to become instructors, and have promoted 5 members to instructor level so far!

You should join us if you're interested in:

  • Learning a new and exciting skill
  • Learning day-to-day self-defence
  • Making friends from all walks of life
  • Getting your fitness on
  • Participating in competitions for a chance at winning medals and prestige
  • And more!

No previous experience required! Sessions are tailored in such a way that even if it's your first time doing martial arts you will get the opportunity to learn the craft step by step. We've all gotta start somewhere!
