Dorich House Museum is the studio home of Estonian Sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband Hon. Richard Hare and now part of Kingston University. Gordine designed the house to be her studio, gallery and home in 1936 and today holds the largest public collection of her work. The Museum also holds the collection of Russian Art and artefacts belonging to Hon. Richard Hare.
The Museum is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am-5pm.
About the Opportunity
All Volunteers help with Gallery Assistant duties and have the opportunity to be involved in a range of activities, including Front of House greeting visitors and manning the Museum shop, helping with public and private events, running Learning Activities, tour guiding and helping with Museum research and marketing tasks. Museum Volunteers play a vital role in keeping the collection and the Museum safe as well as sharing knowledge of the Museum and collection with visitors and improving the visitor experience.
