On 23 March 2023, the Tackling Racism Group organised an event "Against Midwifery" which had so many amazing guest speakers, lecturers, students, and midwives. It was attended by many first, second and third year students. It was an amazing event which provoked many discussions, considerations and questions. The midwifery society were proud to stand alongside the midwifery department for this event by contributing some cultural lunch nibbles, sharing the event, and displaying cards with birthing traditions around the world.
