there are plenty of ways to get involved with sustainability at Kingston 

Sustainability Project Group 

this working group is for any KU students who wanna make a change on their campus, educate themselves, raise awareness of sustainability to other students as well as lobbying KU to add sustainability into the curriculum or run campaigns on campus. you choose and we'll support you to do it. Sustainability can cover laods of issues including: social justice, poverty alleviation, climate change, quality of life, renewable energy, ecosystem preservation and responsible resource use.

the group also wanna create more volunteering opportunities for KU students as well as helping educate other students on important issues.

group roles include:

  • food and waste 
  • campaigns 
  • education
  • chair
  • campus development

we'd love to support any ideas you may have to make Kingston a more sustainable place. we have some funding available for you to apply for so that we can support your projects. simply download this project form to ukssustainability@kingston.ac.uk and we'll get in touch with you.

kingston allotments 

we've recently agreed with the university that we will oversee the use of the green growing spaces on kingston hill. if you have green fingers, want to be outdoors or want to learn a little bit more about growing your own produce then this could be the project for you. email us at ukssustainability@kingston.ac.uk and we'll provide you with the details
