This idea was created after a motion was passed at our Big Student Meeting. You can read the details of this motion here.
The Trustee Board approved this motion and as a result of this the Student Union’s HR processes are being reviewed and updated. This will be referred to the People and Places Sub Committee for implementation. Alongside this, the union are working with the university in order to receive funding in hope that this will allow us to further review the employee structure in order to create more opportunities/job roles for marginalised students.
