Ingredients Listing @ Union of Kingston Students

The Students' Union met with Elior, the University's catering supplier, and has arranged for ingredients to be kept in the canteen for each product. There is now signage in the canteen which encourages students to ask for this book of ingredients if they are unsure what is in their product.

Union AGM Notes (This is what the author believes to be fact, eg “Most students owe money in the form of student loans)

There are students at this university who suffer from unusual allergies which are not included in typical allergens listings
Some foods only include a listing of known allergens without the rest of the ingredients included

Union AGM Believes (This is much more opinion-based, and if passed, will become the policy of Union of Kingston Students. eg “Student debt is not a good thing”)

Students should be made aware of exactly what they are eating to prevent allergic reactions to unusual allergies

Union AGM Resolves (This is the main thrust of the motion and gives the practical mandate to Union of Kingston Students, eg “For Union of Kingston Students to campaign against student debt)
