here at the union, we know a thing or two about ways to keep yourself entertained. we're a staff team of self-professed film buffs, TV addicts and crafty kings and queens. we've compiled a megalist together full of student suggestions (along with a few of our own) to give you some inspiration on what to do on a dull day. 

 

Gaming:

• Genshin Impact – A free to play game that’s been very popular since its release on 28^th September 2020. Running on PC, Mobile and PS4, it’s a 3D action playing game, and it’s gorgeous and extensive open world is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Full of endless quests, engaging characters you can add to your party and interesting puzzles – it’s a great way to kill lots of time
• board game arena - A website with lots of board games recreated for online. You can play with friends, or join up with strangers for some fun games
• Pokemon Cafe Mix – A cute Pokémon related motion puzzle game, available on Switch and Mobile. The perfect mix of adorable and addictive to help kill the long days.

Crafts

• Cross-stitch and Embroidery are great hobbies to pick up during isolation. Soothing and very satisfying, find starter packs for both these skills on amazon and etsy.
• Like to pamper yourself? Learn to make your own bath bombs from this website!
• Artist Johanna Basford has a free 12 page colouring book for you to print out
