Beth was nominated for showing great interest in the cohort's views and opinions on a multitude of topics. She continually tries to find ways of improving the experience of her cohort both in university and on placement. She takes the initiative to collate views and opinions of the students in the form of emails, messages on Whatsapp, polls and surveys which she then presents to the lecturers in order to express a group view. Beth's nominator described her as a wonderful asset to the cohort and someone who is liked by many. Congratulations to Beth!
Amy was nominated for her proactive and friendly approach when it comes to communicating feedback. Amy ensures she is representative of her peers and works collaboratively with both staff and students. She attends meetings at all different levels in order to ensure the student voice is heard and mentors new reps on her course to ensure that they are equally engaged. She is very quick to act on issues in a way that builds initiative, ensuring the smooth running of the course. Well done Amy for being the first winner of term!
