Kingston Business Society supports students and alumni of Kingston University in their visions and help them realise their entrepreneurial, financial, management, HR, marketing potential and other subjects. They are supporting the gender Pay Gap Camapign.

 

A Statement from the Society

At Kingston Business Society, we students believe, that the workplace irrespective of industry people work in, should focus on being equal, ethical and avoid any pay gap, especially on gender grounds.

This campaign is a positive initiative for Kingston University, to raise awareness and lastly try to avoid any unequal activity.

In the current age, it is incredible that women are still discriminated because of their gender, and are not praised equally for the support and dedication that they place in their professional positions. 

The growing number of successful women in very powerful positions, will in time limit and hopefully one day eliminate the gap.

Kingston Business Society is very focus in making sure that women are empowered and rewarded equally for their efforts.

We, therefore pledge, that KBS will stand for gender equality in pay, and we will ensure further dedication in making sure that this will be soon eliminated.

The KBS hosted an event with their members the evening before the Equal Pay Day campaign. 

Here are the results of the KBS society event, in which they involved their members in the Gender Pay Gap Campaign, by getting to know their opinion on the topic. They have also sent out an email reminder to all members, in order for them to be able to take part in this very important campaign. On behalf of the society, they hope that the campaign will be successful, and assure us that we have the full support of the Kingston Business Society.
