International Women's Day: Be Bold for Change

Kingston University celebrates students and staff on International Women's Day.

The theme for International Women's Day held on the 8 March this year was “Be Bold for Change”. The EDI team was delighted to receive 39 nominations for staff and students who have made an outstanding contribution towards gender equality at Kingston University this year. Achievements were acknowledged at a celebration event and stories and ideas shared. Nominations were made for a wide range of reasons including for initiatives such as Taking Race Live, This KU Girl Can, SPRINT or Empower; as well as for contribution to Athena Swan, championing equality in the workplace or for always going the extra mile to mentoring and supporting fellow students.'
