About KUWRC
Women’s rugby will be entering its 9th year as an established Kingston University sports club.

We are a friendly, sociable and enthusiastic team, and we welcome girls from all abilities and encourage everyone to have a go and get involved. Whether you have played for years or are brand new to the sport, we believe we have a place where you will fit right in. We play in BUCS –British Universities & Colleges. 

Come down to our taster session to meet the rest of the team and start playing some rugby!

TASTER SESSION
We will be holding a taster session on Monday 27th September at Tolworth Sportsground from 6.00pm till  8.00pm. this is a great opportunity to meet the girls, the coaches, and see what rugby is all about. the session is free and everybody is welcome to give it a try. We believe once you have started, you will not want to give it up!

If you are unsure on how to get there, there is set up a free bus from Penrhyn Road campus from 6.00pm 9.00pm, that will go to Tolsworth Sportsground. There are also regular buses that will go to Tolsworth Sportsground, make sure you have a contactless or an Oyster card with you to use on the bus. 

(The free bus has only a capacity of 30 people, and we hope everyone respects the driver and everyone else if its full) 

Buses that goes to Tolworth: 418, 406, 281 and K2.

Training
Our Monday training sessions are from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The changing rooms will hopefully be open. However,  be sure to come in your sportswear to the training just incase. 

Membership
a sports membership is required and is mandatory for all individuals that join a sports club. each club has an additional £5 club membership you will need to pay. this money goes directly to the club’s account for them to spend on you, the member. this is looked after by the club’s treasurer.

Kit
Every match day you will be provided with a Club’s shirt, but you will also need studded boots, sky blue socks, rugby shorts, and a gum shield. this can be purchased for a reasonable price at several sport shops.
