For all Kingston University Taekwondo members - past, present and future. Join and keep up to date with what's happening.

Taekwondo is the most popular form of martial art. It originated and was developed for over 20 centuries in Korea and has become a modern international sport. Taekwondo is a way to create spiritual and emotional balance through physical activities such as punching, kicking, blocking, throwing and locking. The intentions of Taekwondo are to instill confidence.

Tickets
Because of the current situation, you will now need to book a ticket before attending lesson. This can be booked by going to the "Events" section and clicking "Book Now". The event will be up on the Friday before each session.
 

Membership
A sports membership is required and is mandatory for all individuals that join a sports club. Each club has an additional £5 club membership you will need to pay. This money goes directly to the club’s account for them to spend on you, the member. This is looked after by the club’s treasurer.

Thursdays: 18:00 - 20:00    (Temporarily Cancelled)

Kingston Hill Drama Hall (Poomsae sessions)

Wednesday: 19.00-21.00    (Temporarily Cancelled)

 

COMPETITION DAYS:

3 - 4 events occur every year

  • November = Imperial Competition
  • February = Student National
  • March = Chung Do Kwan (in the UK)
