Description

Whether you are studying Psychology or just find it interesting, this student-run society is for anyone to join! Whether you are a psychology student or someone simply interested in psychology, everyone is welcome. We hope that all can benefit from what the Society has to offer:

Enhancing & supporting academic experience through speakers, events and peer support
Provide social engagement opportunities
Promoting the Department of Psychology and networking with other societies
Promoting further interest and insight into the psychological field.

We do this by arranging a number of psychology themed trips, events, invited guest speakers who are committed to the well-being of others and are inspiring change. We also seek to build alliances with local volunteer agencies to help provide volunteering opportunities and experience in helping roles.

As well as these we will also be organising study sessions on campus to help optimise revision, answer any questions and to also see what other students think. Snacks will be provided. Free for all. All events are advertised on our Instagram page, as well as via Whatsapp, Discord, and emails to our members.

The annual membership fee is £5 for current Students, and £7 for Alumni.

This society is also a great way for you to meet other people on your course so don't be afraid to come along to any of our events - all are welcome!!
We also encourage our members to see this as a partnership and to tell us what they want and expect from us.
