Many Christians tend to only ask God for things according to what they want. For example, money, luxurious cars, mansions, success and even this: "what is God's will for me?" But how many Christians have asked these questions: "what is God's will for Himself?", "Lord, what do you want for Yourself?"

The Bible in many places clearly shows us that God has a will for Himself and this will is also referred to as His good pleasure.

Ephesians 1:9 says, "Making known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure which he purposed in Himself"

Also, all things exist because of God's will - His good pleasure

Revelation 4:11 says, "You have created all things and because of Your will they were and were created."

So, you might be wondering, "what is God’s will? And where can I find the answer? "Actually, the Bible, the Word of God, is now available to us for this very purpose and this is the main reason why we read the Bible, so that, the mystery of His will, which He purposed in Himself, can be made known to us.
