Hey everyone! I’m SAMI MEHKRI and I'm running to be your Education Officer.

I am an International Student and am currently on my MSc IBM placement year and have been involved in numerous societies at University. As an International Student, I understand the challenges that our students face, which include but are not limited to difficulties in finances, value education and finding placements and work.

If elected, I promise to work towards:

1. Fair compensation for lost academic time.

2. Improved Course Rep system.

3. Support to International Students.

4. Graduation for all students including those who missed it last year.

It will be a privilege and pleasure to represent you & to ensure that the Student Union is there for ALL students! I will be open and approachable, empowering students to bring change, fight for equal treatment and do everything in my power to ensure we receive the best education.
