Hi, I’m Mohamed and I'm running to be your next Welfare Officer.

Our Students Union has done some incredible work, it’s now time to take it to the next level!

 I have had 4 amazing years at Kingston so far. I am your current Student Union Trustee, an Outreach Coordinator, the President of the Wrestling Society and was previously the Vice President of the largest cultural society on campus, SOMSOC.  

As a long-term Kingston University student and an active member of the University both academically and socially through working with my peers and through societies, I hold strong values and beliefs towards the welfare of students within the University.   If elected as your next Welfare officer, I would like to ensure we…

• Transform Kingston’s Mental Health & Counselling Services – ensuring they are culturally competent & accessible to all students 
• Support our students living in accommodation
• Bigger & Better campaigns
• Expand Black History Month and campaign for more Student Social Spaces 
• Develop and Promote tools to report all forms of discrimination and harassment

 It would be an honour to further enhance our current Student Union and take it to new heights, so vote for me Mohamed Sghaier as your NEW Vice President Welfare Officer.
