our full programme of virtual events is now announced, and you can book tickets here! we've been working hard behind the scenes, consulting with uni and keeping up to date with the latest UK government guidelines on COVID-19 to figure out what freshers 2020 will look like.

we've created a fantastic lineup of virtual freshers events with plenty of opportunities to meet your new friends. there will be cooking classes, dj sets, quiz nights, escape rooms, night at the opera murder mystery, talks, workshops and more! we'll have a student opportunities festival so you can meet our societies, sports clubs and student community groups, and find out how you can get involved. 

our events will run from 14th September til the 9th October, so you get 4 whole weeks of freshers'.

if you're returning to uni in September, we know it might feel a bit strange in comparison to previous years but we're sure you'll embrace and love this years programme just as much as before (and now you'll get to skip the queues and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home - result!)

how do i avoid scams? 

all of our events are virtual this year, so if you see any physical events taking place in September, these are not run by us and the events may not even go ahead. social media makes it super easy for unnoficial events to seem really convincing and lots of students have been targeted by this before, so be aware!

I want to join a society, sports team or student community when i come to KU. can i see what you've got on offer? 

definitely! you can decide which group you'll join by clicking here for a list of societies, here for a list of sports teams and here for a list of communities. 

 

I'm a part of a society, sports team or community group and I want to plan a virtual welcome event/stall etc.
