food parcel collaboration - how to get yours

your welfare officer Hamad and the KU Faith & Spirituality Team are working in collaboration with Kingston Outreach to provide emergency food parcels every Wednesday and Saturday between 12 – 4pm. these can be collected or delivered.

Kingston Outreach work closely with our partners (such as Council, Citizens Advice Bureaus, schools and GP surgeries) who hand out food bank vouchers to people who are in need.The parcel includes enough food to meet minimum nutritional needs for three days. A typical parcel could contain food such as pasta, tuna, pasta sauce, soup, tinned fruits and vegetables, cereal and milk.

How to get a food voucher

Step 1 - If you find yourself in trouble please contact us on vpwelfare@kingston.ac.uk and send us your full name, phone number and K number.

Step 2 - If you're eligible, you'll get a food bank voucher with details of how to find us and opening times.

Step 3 - Pop along to see us with your food bank voucher on Wednesday or Saturday and we’ll give you a food parcel containing three days’ worth of food.
